Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, originally known as Madison Township Raceway Park, is an American auto racing facility. It is located on 230 Pension Road in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey (with an Englishtown ZIP code), just off of County Route 527 (Englishtown Road). Raceway Park was opened in July 1965 and since its opening has become New Jersey's premier motorsports park featuring multiple racing events, top drivers from around the world, and racing enthusiasts from all over the world. The dragway has a capacity of 30,000 spectators. ==History== Raceway Park was founded by Vincent & Louis Napoliello Raceway Park was originally 308 acres, and since then it has grown to 500+ acres with multiple motorsports activities. The track opened with a single 1/4 mile dragstrip. Raceway Park now offers 2 dragstrips, 3 motocross tracks, a road course track, competition go kart racing track, autocross track, ride & drive site and adjacent Old Bridge Airport. Raceway Park is sanctioned by the National Hot Rod Association and hosts many drag racing events during the months of February through December.
